Researcher specializing in environmental modeling 🏔️🔥🌍, with a strong background in data-driven methods. My expertise spans data science, GIS, remote sensing, and numerical modeling, which I apply to analyze the spatial and temporal dynamics of land cover and hydro-meteorological hazards such as landslides, debris flows, and wildfires, from global to local scales.
I completed my PhD on landslide and wildfire dynamic modeling in the Italian Alps using interpretable data-driven frameworks, as a joint project between University of Twente and Eurac Research. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher at the OpenGeoHub Foundation, contributing to global land cover mapping.
I am keen to understand Earth surface dynamics and eager to collaborate on solutions for land system analysis and hazard prediction.
