Hi, I was trying to adapt the example app (and library) to support a (newly created) "Now playing" template. This works, both the iOS lock screen and CarPlay dashboard are showind the correct "Now playing" album art.

However, I keep hitting the following error when opening the CarPlay app (and switching to home or another app):

Application does not implement CarPlay template application lifecycle methods in its scene delegate.

I have been searching for a solution all day, but can't find anything wrong.

One rather big remark though: since I only need audio capabilities, I only configured my project to have the com.apple.developer.carplay-audio entitlement (and that is currently also the only entitlement I request to Apple).

Does this ring a bell? Could it be that react-native-auto-play is (unintentionally) tailored towards map usage only? And can this trigger this erro?

Btw. there is no need for the web checks, nothing is exported from the lib when running on web.
