Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my GitHub Copilot Pro+ subscription and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue.
A few months ago I upgraded to Copilot Pro+ and have been paying for it regularly without any problems. Recently, however, there were not enough funds on my card when the renewal date came, so the payment could not be processed.
After that, my Copilot credits in VS Code ran out and I started seeing a message asking me to upgrade or renew my plan. I then added funds to my card, and GitHub successfully charged me. In fact, I have payment receipts showing that I was charged for both the previous billing period and the current one.
The problem is that my account still behaves as if I am on the Free plan. In VS Code I continue to see the “Upgrade Plan” button, Copilot Pro+ features are not available, and my monthly credits have not been restored.
I have already contacted GitHub Support and am currently waiting for a response. I also have proof of payment and receipts.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, how was it resolved? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process while waiting for support?
Additional information: On the GitHub billing page I can see the payment was successfully charged, and I have receipts confirming the payment. However, my account still shows the Free plan and no Copilot Pro+ credits are available.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
