Hi Copilot team

I just paid my subscription 6/9/2025

But while using GHC it notices that I already used 75% token. In the meanwhile, I checked that I only used ~66 token in 6/9. Why

A few things could explain this:

• The usage meter and billing date don't always reset at the exact same time. If your subscription was renewed recently, the quota dashboard may still be showing usage from the current billing cycle until the system fully refreshes.
• Different Copilot features can consume premium requests at different rates depending on the model and feature being used. The number of chats or requests shown in the activity view may not directly match the percentage displayed in the usage meter.
• There can occasionally be delays or inconsistencies in the reporting dashboard, especially shortly after a subscription renewal or plan change.

If the usage still shows 75% after several hours (or by the next day), I'd recommend opening a support ticket and including:

• Screenshots of the billing page showing the renewal date.
• Screenshots of the usage dashboard.
• The approximate time when the subscription renewed.

GitHub Support can check whether the quota was reset correctly for your account and investigate any reporting issues.

Hopefully it's just a synchronization delay, but Support will be able to confirm the exact cause if the numbers don't update.
