Hi GitHub Community Team,
I am writing this post out of complete frustration as my work has been heavily impacted for weeks. I have a paid, active Copilot Pro Annual Subscription, but due to a known billing system glitch, my account (aziz084) has been downgraded and stuck on "Copilot Free".
To make matters worse, because GitHub has temporarily paused new plan sign-ups, the system is misrouting my active annual subscription and completely hiding the option to restore or upgrade it.
I have tried every possible support channel with zero helpful results:
Primary Ticket #4282318 has been open for 50 days with absolutely ZERO replies.
Related Tickets #4360442 and #4309070 were automatically archived and closed by the automated system WITHOUT any resolution.
This is an internal billing database loop that cannot be fixed from my end. Since my previous tickets are ignored or auto-closed, I need a GitHub Staff member or Community Manager to manually escalate Ticket #4282318 to a Billing Supervisor immediately to restore the service I already paid for.
