It shows you where the sun is relative to your position. It’s intuitive and nicely designed, which is rare these days for phone apps. The Pro version is good value as well.

In this update, we're fixing long-standing bugs in Sunlitt and some more quality-of-life refinements.
The map camera and gestures management system was completely rewritten:
- Map gestures like pan, zoom, tilt, and rotate are now much more precise and won't overlap with each other.
- Map lighting and styles changes are now much smoother and reliable.
- Landform Shadows loading was sped up a tiny bit.
- Fixed unpredicted map camera movements during fast interactions.
- The map is now slightly more performant.
And some more things:
- Redesigned time slider interaction on Apple Watch for clarity and ease of use.
- Fixed Sun Events Countdown complication not being visible on some watch faces on Apple Watch.
- Fixed several errors in some localizations.
- Fixed some minor visual nuances.
- Updated many internal components for improved stability.
